Zollie Mae Eller

ZOLLIE MAE ELLER, born April 2, 1917, in Ashe County, North Carolina, passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 14, 2003. She was 86 years old. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Walter and Nelie Powers. She was the wife of the late Graham W. Eller. She was a homemaker and loved her flowers and roses. She resided in Dublin, Maryland for over 55 years. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church for over 60 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Gordon and her husband, Richard of Dublin and Shirley Macon and her husband, Jerry of Aberdeen. She has five grandchildren: Tracy Nichols of Peoria, Illinois; Angelia Dranbauer and her husband, Charles (Chip) of Dublin; Graham Gordon of Dublin; David and Marcus Macon of Aberdeen. She has two great granddaughters, Morgan and Madison Dranbauer and a predeceased great grandson, Marshal Dranbauer.

She is survived by two sisters, Margie Fender and Doris Weaver of Bel Air, and two brothers, Grant Powers of Baltimore, and Walter Powers of Bel Air, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased brothers were Vernon Powers, Dennis Powers, and Kermit Powers.

Active pallbearers were Graham Gordon, Tracy Nichols, Marcus Macon, David Macon, Mark Testerman, and Charles Dranbauer. Honorary pallbearers were Walter Powers, Grant Powers, Richard Powers, Ronnie Testerman, Greg Testerman, and Raymond Evans.

Donations may be made in Zollie’s memory to Franklin Baptist Church in Darlington, Maryland.
