Yvette Margaret Jones

Yvette Margaret Crum was born on December 29 1949 in New York City. She was the first child of the late Doris and Abraham Crum. She departed from labor to reward on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

She was a mother to 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. David, Anthony, Tiffany, Tracey, Jamaal, and Johnny. And was the grandmother to 9 grandchildren = (Taa’shem , Kimore, Nicolas, Ja’kalah, Jamaal, Imaree, Emani, Tamia, Jah’Real) whom she loved talking on the phone or Facebook, getting updates on how they were doing. Her love was shared not only with her children and grandkids but everyone who lived on 199th Street.

Even with all the love she had for all, she still manages to find love with Troy E. Jones and married on May 1, 2009 were it began their world wind of sharing their commonalities of listening to music, travel and being around family & friends.

Her presence and love will be missed by many, but her legacy will live on with everyone she touched.
