Yvette A. Roman

YVETTE A. ROMAN, age 74, of Bel Air, died in Country View Assisted Living in Darlington on October 23, 2004. Born in Evereux, France, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Marie Lesieux, and the wife of the late Joseph A. Roman. She was a former president of the French Association of Baltimore. She met her husband while he was a sergeant in the Army Air Corps stationed in France. They met at a USO dance in 1947. She was a great cook and an avid reader. She loved her pets, tended to her rock gardens, and enjoyed entertaining with her friends. She enjoyed going to yard sales.

Mrs. Roman is survived by four sons, John P. Roman of Darlington; Joseph F. Roman of Jarrettsville; Philip M. Roman of Zweibrücken, Germany; Michael A. Roman of Abingdon; two daughters, Chantal B. Marus of Havre de Grace; Dominique M. Baroch of Bel Air; one sister, Odette Lancelin of France; and nine grandchildren.
