Woodrow Wright Sr.

January 20, 1923 — September 12, 2006

WOODROW WRIGHT, SR., age 83, of Aberdeen, MD, died on September 12, 2006, at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Speedwell, VA, he was the son of the late Walter K. and Frances Anderson Wright and the husband of the late Jessie Lee Wright. He worked as a dairy farmer most of his life. When he was younger, he was an avid hunter and kept hunting dogs. In his later years, he worked as a volunteer at Harford Memorial Hospital. He took great pride in his work at the hospital and loved all the people there. His family said that he was a very sweet, friendly man who loved people from all walks of life.

Mr. Wright is survived by two sons, Robert C. Wright of Darlington, MD, and William K. Wright of Barstow, CA; two daughters, Mary L. Welshons of Aberdeen, MD, and Shirley G. Ziervogel of Port Deposit, MD; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by two sons, Woodrow Wright, Jr., and Ronald Wright.
