Woodrow Wilson Rodgers Jr., age 76, of Joppa, MD passed away on March 10, 2018 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Jeannette Marie (Hildebrand) Rodgers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was an avid video game fan, an accomplished welder and pipefitter, and enjoyed working with wood and fishing. Woodrow was a family man, mentor, a father figure to many who would come to seek his wisdom, and a good friend to all he met.
Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margaret Rodgers; sons, Woodrow W. Rodgers, III of Glen Burnie, Matthew James Rodgers and Michael Jason Rodgers both of Joppa; daughter, Wendy Lynn Price of Rising Sun; sisters, Jeannette McDevitt of Pasadena, Tina Niemeyer of Severn, Treva Powers of Colorado, 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
