Winnie Leona Bloyd

WINNIE LEONA BLOYD, age 90, of Street, died in Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore on December 12, 2003. Born August 7, 1913 in Montague County, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Willie Henry and Lottie Pearl Arledge Ely. She married Steve Jefferson Bloyd on June 24, 1931 in Brownfield. They lived in Brownfield, Seagraves, Lubbock, and moved to Andrews in 1992. Mr. Bloyd died on November 4, 1996. She moved to Harford County in 1996 and was a resident for 8 years. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church for over 85 years.

Mrs. Bloyd is survived by one son, Donald S. Bloyd of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Joy Click of Seminole, Texas; Eileen Duggan of Odessa, Texas; two sisters, Louise Fauver of Floydada, Texas; Gertrude Asher of Killeen, Texas; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
