Winifred Louise Reisig

Winifred Louise Reisig, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 3, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Winifred Knoll Koebler and wife of the late Joseph Francis Reisig. A devoted mother all her life, she was very supportive of her grandchildren's sports activities. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, WPS, and AARP, where she was the membership chairperson for many years. She enjoyed knitting scarves, making jewelry, and always enjoyed shopping and knew where to find sales. She lived life to the fullest with a zest for independence.

Mrs. Reisig is survived by a son, Richard Reisig of Plymouth, MA; two daughters, Janice Burdon of Bel Air, MD and Winifred Carroll of Havre de Grace, MD; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, a son, Joseph William Reisig and a brother, Warren Koebler, predeceased her.
