Winifred "Winnie" was born on February 26, 1922, at home in Street, Maryland, and was the daughter of Edwin and Olivia (Forwood) Kohler. She graduated from Dublin High School in 1940 and married Robert "Bob" Everitt Livezey of Bel Air on January 3, 1941. The Winnie/Bob team began a lifetime of working together, cutting down trees for lumber and hauled stone to build their first home in Bel Air on Eastern Avenue. In 1946 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona for Bob's health.
Winnie began her career calling in real estate in 1967 as an agent and 3 years later earned her broker's license. Very active in the real estate community with many achievements and honors, Winnie continued to work 7 days/week until two weeks prior to her death at age 91.
Winnie leaves behind a daughter, Nancy Ray of Phoenix, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; two surviving sisters (Lois Johnson and Cecilia Hamilton); five nieces and one nephew.
A Celebration of Winnie's Life will be held at Emory United Methodist Church in Street on January 11th at 3 PM. If desired, donations can be made to the Emory Methodist Church, P. O Box 94, Street, MD 21154.
