WINDELL STAMBAUGH, age 56, of Joppa, died at Johns Hopkins Hospital on April 6, 2003. Born in Letcher County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Winfield and Nettie Holbrooks Stambaugh. He had retired after 31 years of service as a supervisor with the Baltimore City Solid Waste Division. A resident of Harford County for 33 years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Stambaugh is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna (Kate) Ennis Stambaugh; one son, David G. Stambaugh of Havre de Grace; two daughters, Brenda K. DeProspero of Abingdon; Samantha W. Zuro of Forest Hill; two brothers, Carl Stambaugh of Abingdon; Eugene Stambaugh of North Carolina; one sister, Brenda Stambaugh of Joppa; five grandchildren, Nicole L. Stambaugh of Havre de Grace; Danielle L. Stambaugh of Havre de Grace; Sean W. DeProspero of Abingdon; Katie J. DeProspero of Abingdon; and Alec C. Zuro of Forest Hill. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, J.B. Stambaugh; and one sister, Mary Adams.
