WILLIAM STEAD McDOUGALL, SR., age 60, of Bel Air, died on October 26, 2005 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Born and raised in Parkville, he was one of eleven children of the late Patrick and Hope Brown McDougall. Mr. McDougall was a truck driver who hauled general freight. He was a Harford County resident for 40 years and was called the “Taz Man” because he was a huge fan of the Tasmanian Devil Looney Tunes cartoon character.
Mr. McDougall is survived by his wife of 21 years Paulette E. Hopkins McDougall; his son, William S. McDougall, Jr., and his wife, Katy, of Abingdon; stepson William H. Beyer II, of Florida; two stepdaughters, Deborah A. Canning of Parkville, and Fran Townsend of Bel Air; two brothers, Jimmy McDougall of Florida, and Donald McDougall of Essex; one sister, Hope Disney of Parkville; and seven grandchildren: Gwyneth M. McDougall of Abingdon, Jonathon Canning and Christina Canning, both of Parkville, Jackie Beyer, Yvonne Dushane, Billy H. Beyer III, and Steven Beyer, Jr., all of Florida.
