William Robert Owens

WILLIAM ROBERT OWENS, age 75, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 21, 2006 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Born in Morley, TN, he was the son of the late George Owens and the late Nora Austin Moses. He was a resident of Harford County since 1963, and a millwright at Thompson Wire for 31 years. He served his country in the US Marines, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He attended New Life Baptist Church. His family said that he enjoyed gun collecting, fishing, boating and playing golf and that he loved his dogs, Tara and Scarlett.

Mr. Owens is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Mildred Reddish Owens, of Bel Air, MD; two sons, Mark Bradford Owens of Reisterstown, MD and Robert Darin Owens of Joppa, MD; and two grandchildren, D.J. Owens of Joppa, MD and Eddie Garmzabau of New York City.
