William Riley Bolt Sr.

WILLIAM “Bill” BOLT, Sr., age 85, formerly of Aberdeen, MD, died on May 2, 2007, at his home in Deltona, FL. He was the son of the late Joseph Marion and Ava Mabel Shuler Bolt of Havre de Grace, MD, and the husband of 47 years to the late Rozella Scotten Bolt. He was born in Blue Field, WV, and moved with his family to Harford County, Maryland as a child. During WWII, Mr. Bolt served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Avon Park, FL. Mr. Bolt retired from Meade Concrete Pipe of Aberdeen, MD, in 1976. Mr. Bolt’s hobbies included woodworking, hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also known to tinker with anything and could fix almost everything as he was called to do so by his friends and neighbors alike.

Mr. Bolt is survived by one son, William Bolt, Jr., and his wife Terry of Elkton, MD; one daughter, Connie Middleton and her husband Donald of Deltona, FL; one brother, Edwin Bolt and his wife Leah of Duncansville, PA; one sister, Lillian Lantz Phillips of Edgewood, MD; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bolt of New York, and Julie Hicox and Ed Middleton, both of Florida; and two great grandchildren.
