William R. Benway

William R. Benway, age 77, of Fallston, MD passed away on August 9, 2011 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. Born in Covington, KY, he was the son of the late Ralph Harry and Viola Heutel Benway. He was employed as an associate engineer for Western Electric and Lucent Technologies, was an avid hunter, and dealt in antiques.

Mr. Benway is survived by his wife, Barbara Martin Benway of Fallston, MD; daughters, Robin Kretzchmar of Hibbing, MN, Elizabeth Rahier and husband, George, of Big Fork, MN; stepdaughter, Kelly Gilliam and husband, Jeffrey, of Richardson, TX; brother, Ralph Benway of Chicago, IL; and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Lou Benway; daughter, Amy Benway; and sister, Jean Bedore.
