William Martin Forster, Sr.

William Martin Forster Sr., age 90, of Joppa, MD, passed away on November 16, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Belle Lewis Forster and husband of the late Marian Wimmer Forster. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country in the Pacific Theater during WWII of which he was very, very proud. He enjoyed rabbit and squirrel hunting, playing baseball and gardening. Very family oriented, he liked to have a good time and held back yard parties for every occasion. Nicknamed "Little Reds", he enjoyed his Beagles and Beer.

He is survived by his sons, William Martin Forster Jr. and wife, Virginia of Edgewood, MD and Jeffry Steven Forster and wife Patty of Joppatowne, MD; daughter, Donna J. Forster of Joppa, MD; grandchildren, Bill Forster of Denver, CO, Steven Forster of York, PA, Jerry Davis of Essex, MD, Chris Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Scott Davis of Churchville, MD and Heather Sands of Joppatowne, MD; and a plethora of great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, Charles "Bud" Forster and sister, Helen Skinner.
