William Mack Sullivan

William Mack Sullivan, 85, of Joppa, MD, passed away on March 7, 2015 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Cedar Springs, VA, he was the son of the late Henry Lester Sullivan and Sina Caroline Pierce Sullivan and husband, for 59 years, of the late Edith Shepherd Sullivan. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Joppa Magnolia Fire Company. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower gardens.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his son, Elbert Shepherd and wife, Virginia Ruth, of North Wilkesboro, NC; daughter, Margie Sexton and husband, Thomas, of Edgewood; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Roger Shepherd.
