William M. Craig Jr. (Bill), age 100, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 29, 2017. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of William Merle and Aurora S. (Simmons) Craig and was the husband of the late Mildred A. Craig. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Martin Marietta as a Procurement Quality Representative. He enjoyed fine dining and traveling. He was an avid sports fan and had a personal interest in the space program.
Bill is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Roland and Bettye Craig, nephew Billy Craig, great nephew Doug Quebedeaux, and cherished friend of over 20 years, Shirley Moran.
Mr. Craig is survived by his nephew, Todd Craig (spouse Cathy) of Bryan, TX; nieces Betty L. Elliot (spouse Larry) of Nederland, TX and Janet L. Quebedeaux (spouse Jimmy) of Orange, TX; numerous other nieces and nephews; Sam and Carol Sheetz and family – his Maryland family; and his dear friends, Brady Chrismer, Tamara Stickler, and Carlton Chenoweth.
