William C. Lowe Jr., age 76, of Parkville, Maryland, passed away on February 15, 2025, at Oak Crest Senior Living in Parkville, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of William and Carmelina (Biondo) Lowe. He graduated from Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore City.
William worked in construction as a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers. He had a passion for history, particularly Civil War history. He collected antique firearms, with a keen interest in those from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. He enjoyed movies, especially Westerns. He also had a deep appreciation for art and possessed vast knowledge of many prolific painters. A dedicated reader and an amazing storyteller, he was known as the “Trivia King” at Oak Crest. His intelligence and knowledge were recognized by all who knew him. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his two brothers, Thomas C. Lowe and Gary E. Lowe; sisters-in-law, Mary Catherine Lowe and Gail A. Lowe; four nieces, Megan Power (Matthew), Kristin Geonnotti (Anthony), Meredith Ham (Will), and Abigail Lowe; and one nephew, Garrett Lowe. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, two aunts, Rosalie Culbertson and Doris Biondo, as well as many cousins, neighbors, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Lowe Sr., and his mother, Carmelina C. Lowe.
