William Lee Sr.

WILLIAM “HAT RACK” HENRY LEE, SR., age 79, of Street, MD, died on April 7, 2006 at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Street, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Earnest and Anna McMillian Lee. He retired from Edgewood Arsenal in 1975 where he was a Post Engineer. He was a veteran of the US Army who served during WWII. Mr. Lee was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir, and a member of American Legion Post 55 and was a member of a Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Viola Waters Lee of Street, MD; two sons, William Henry Lee, Jr. of Alexandria, VA and Chico Stephan Lee of Edgewood, MD; five daughters, Faye Fisher of Arizona, Sheila Brenda Kiniel of Edgewood, MD, Linda Lorraine Harris of Aberdeen, MD, and Maria Delores Lee and Jacqueline Nadine Lee, both of Street, MD; three brothers, Herbert “Sonny” E. Lee of Indianapolis, IN, Lester Earl Lee of Street, MD and Charles Russell Lee of Aberdeen, MD; two sisters, Eugenia “Sister” Lee of Bel Air, MD and Hilda Ramona Bowser of Aberdeen, MD; 8 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren.
