WILLIAM “LEE” PRITCHETT, SR., age 69, of Bel Air, MD, died on January 20, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William R. and Lula W. Pritchett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for the Baltimore City Police Department for 38 years, where he retired as a Lieutenant and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was employed by Major League Baseball as a Resident Security Agent. He was a Mason, a member of the Harford Region Antique Automobile Association and a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Joppa, MD.
Mr. Pritchett is survived by his wife, Patricia LaRay Quinn Pritchett of Bel Air, MD; four children, Vicki LaRay Thacker and her husband, James L. Thacker II, of Bel Air, MD, Cheryl Lynn Seling and her husband, Charles J. Seling, Jr., of Highlands Ranch, CO; Susan Lee Meadows and her husband, Eugene Meadows, of Abingdon, MD, and William (Bill) LeRoy Pritchett and his wife, Holly Pritchett, of Street, MD; sister, Betty L. Marshall and her husband, James L.Marshall, of Tidioute, PA; sister-in-law, Patricia Ann Pritchett of Baltimore, MD; and nine grandchildren, Charles (CJ) Seling, III and Benjamin Seling of Highlands Ranch, CO, Nikki Meadows and Kevin Meadows, of Abingdon, MD, Rebecca Thacker and Jennifer Thacker of Bel Air, MD, Jessica Pritchett, Brittany Pritchett and William Metz Pritchett, of Street, MD. He was pre-deceased by his brother John C. Pritchett.
