William H. Grant, age 82, of Las Cruces, NM, formally of Norrisville, MD, died on May 2, 2009. He was born and raised in Harford County, the son of the late John and May Grant, and husband of the late Helen Elizabeth Greer. He was a meat cutter for Safeway for 25 years, and had served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for 25 years. He was a dedicated volunteer of the Elkridge Harford Hunt Club since 1942. He served in all aspects of the club including whipper-in, working with the horses, and getting them fit for the hunt. He especially enjoyed walking the hounds, getting ready for shows, and showing the hounds. He also judged horse races every spring including My Lady's Manor.
