On Monday, May 5, 2014, Walter William Bill Gemmill of Madonna, Maryland passed away. Son of the late William Walter and late Emma Moerken Gemmill. Husband of his loving wife of 69 years Dorothy (Dot) Troyer Gemmill; father of Robert Gemmill and wife Louise of Felton, Pa.; Linda Hock of Shrewsbury, Pa.; Carolyn Bluestein and husband Daniel of Virginia Beach, Va.; Marjorie Hendley and husband Rex of Red Lion, Pa,; Steve Gemmill and wife Amber of Felton, Pa.; and Debra Kinhart and husband Howard of Towson, Md. Also survived by grandchildren Dyana; Robert; Jeffrey; Amy; William; Thomas; Bennett; Michael; Brian; Chelsea; Katie; David; and Sarah; 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 2-4 PM - 6-8 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church, 4135 Norrisville Road White Hall, Maryland 21161. Interment in adjoining church cemetery.
