William Gale Dunivant

WILLIAM GALE DUNIVANT, age 73, of Street, MD, died on July 29, 2007 at his home. Born in Sparta, NC on January 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Fielder Ray and Mary Ellen Billings Dunivant. Mr. Dunivant had a passion and love for antique automobiles. His last years of employment were spent restoring and refurbishing antique automobiles. He enjoyed frequenting car shows, flea markets, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was one of the founding members of the Harford Region Antique Automobile Club. Family and friends recall that he was a devoted husband, father, family member and friend. He was a member of Franklin Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Dunivant is survived by his wife of 54 years, Freda Maxine Pendry Dunivant of Street, MD; a daughter, Janet Sue McMillan and her husband, David, of Street, MD; a son, William Keith Dunivant and his wife, Reyna of Street, MD; two brothers, Charles Ray Dunivant of Delta, PA, and Billy Dale Dunivant of Perryville, MD; one sister, Norma Jean Phipps of Sparta, NC; nine grandchildren, Tony Gale Dunivant Jr. and his wife, Dora, Tina Dunivant Ramirez, Brian J. Dunivant, and Stacey M. Dunivant, all of Texas, Lisa McMillan Jeric and her husband, Mark, of White Hall, MD, Lori E. McMillan of Street, Maryland, Anthony Avina and his wife, Ciara, of Abingdon, MD, William K. Dunivant II and Brandon Gale Dunivant, both of Street, MD, and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Tony Gale Dunivant Sr. and a great-grandson, Marcus Ramirez.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Tony Gale Dunivant Jr., Brian J. Dunivant, Anthony Avina, William K. Dunivant II, Brandon Gale Dunivant, Mark J. Jeric, and Jason S. Brinck.
