WILLIAM FRANCIS WEYANT, age 70, of Abingdon died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on December 14, 2003. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Vesta Theresa Shank Weyant of Kingsville and the late Bernard Francis Weyant. He had retired after 14 years from Eddie’s Supermarket in Baltimore where he worked as a clerk. He had worked at McLellan’s Deli in Tdlewild for 25 years. He was an avid fisherman and camper. He was a life member of the American Fishing Club. He was also an avid bowler at Forest Hill Lanes Pinbusters. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Weyant is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marlene Virginia Rotan Weyant; two sons, Ronald L. Weyant of Sykesville; David F. Weyant of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Deborah A. Amole of Key West, Florida; Rochelle L. Garick of Abingdon; one brother, Thomas Weyant of Kingsville; two sisters, Dorothy Crawford of Randallstown; Rose Marie James of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be: Ron L. Weyant, David F. Weyant, Joe T. Garick, Hank C. Amole, Henry C. Amole, and Matthew J. Garick.
