William E. Ormord

William E. Ormord, age 79, of Joppa, MD, passed away on March 6, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Long Beach, CA, he was the son of the late William Ernest Ormord Sr. and Mary N. Day Ormord. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. A member of VFW Post #5838, he enjoyed boating, woodworking, parties and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Ormord is survived by his wife of 48 years, Johanna G. Ormord of Joppa, MD; sons, Jim Ormord and wife, Barbara, of Bel Air, MD, Mike Ormord and wife, Shannon, of Elkton, MD and Robert Ormord and wife, Amy, of Bethany Beach, DE; daughter, Denise Dooley and husband, Dan, of Yorba Linda, CA; and grandchildren, Elise, Ava, Tyler, Jillian, and Ethan.
