WILLIAM D. TAYLOR, JR., age 53, of Bel Air, died at his home on April 26, 2005. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Durham, Sr. and Virginia Savin Taylor. He was a shipping and receiving warehouseman at TIC Gums, Inc., Belcamp. He had worked at Courtland Hardware as a store manager and at Boyle Buick and Auto Village as an auto salesman. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Mustang Care Club of Maryland. He enjoyed restoring old corvettes and mustangs. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed collecting antiques.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon L. Lancaster Taylor; two sons, William D. Taylor, III and Andrew L. Taylor, both of Bel Air; and a sister, M. Carole Hopkins of Darlington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard D. Taylor.
