William Clayton Dixon Sr.

William C. Dixon Sr., age 92, of Bel Air, MD entered peacefully into eternal rest on September 2, 2012 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Eugene and Anna Middlecoff Dixon and husband of the late Hilda M. Derry Dixon. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during WWII and was a member of the American Legion in Parkville.

Mr. Dixon is the beloved husband of Helen Pisano Dixon of Bel Air, MD; devoted father of Michael Dixon and wife, Valerie, of Bel Air, MD and the late William C. Dixon Jr.; loving grandfather of Jennifer M. Morgan and husband, Matt, Andrew R. Dixon and wife, Dina, Brad M. Dixon, and the late Shawn W. Dixon; and a host of loving great-grandchildren, Kali Wakefield, Joe Posedenti, Kayla Morgan, Luke Morgan, Madelyn Dixon and the late Cory Dixon. He was predeceased by his sister, Lucille Goetz.

Services will be private.
