William Charles Williamson

William Charles Williamson, age 86, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on May 15, 2017 at his home. Born in Essex, Maryland, he was the son of James Valentine and Ruth (Horner) Williamson. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he worked for Bethlehem Steel for 42 years. Since 1972, he attended Reformation Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid photographer. He enjoyed taking pictures of the grandchildren and their sports activities and team pictures for Harford Christian School.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife of 66 years, Fannie L. Williamson; daughters, Lene D. Steelman of Bel Air and Suzanne L. Poltrack and husband, Gregory, of Abingdon; grandchildren, Katie L. Bryan and husband, Titus, and Luke E. Steelman all of Bel Air, and Harrison P. Poltrack of New Freedom, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gracie, Philip, and Kitty.
