WILLIAM CAMILLE PIERNÉ, age 57, of Bel Air, died at his residence on May 19, 2004. Born in Baltimore City, he was the son of Marydella Funk Pierné who lived with her extended family, Kirstin and Kenneth Rutkowski of Bel Air and the late Andrew Camille Pierné. He graduated from Bel Air High School and received a B. S. in Education from Towson State University and a M.S. in Education from Coppin State University. He taught for a total of 30 years in the Baltimore City Public School System, the last 10 years at the William S. Baer School. He was a member of Big Brothers of Maryland. He was Superintendent of Sunday School for two years at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bel Air. He was an avid bowler, loved music, and enjoyed gardening and socializing with friends. He was always willing to help children in need. He lived in Baltimore City until February 2004. He loved the Lord and studied to be a minister at one time. He was known by his peers for his honesty and integrity.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Pierné is survived by his wife, Nancy Saunders Pierné, two brothers, Robert Andrew Pierné of Edgewood and James Gilbert Pierné of Hagerstown and nephews.
