William Cameron Latham Jr., age 82, of Aberdeen, MD, formerly of Havre de Grace, died on May 29, 2010 at Perry Point VA Medical Center in Perryville, MD. Born in Chestertown, MD, he was the son of the late William Cameron Latham Sr. and Anna Cracroft Long Latham. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked for J.M. Huber in mechanical maintenance. He was a member of the Havre de Grace American Legion Post #47, DAV, and was a lifelong member of the VFW Post #812.
Mr. Latham is survived by his wife, Lorraine R. Latham of Smyrna, DE; son, William C. Latham III of Smyrna, DE; daughter, Audrey E. Sutherland of Eldersburg, MD; brother, Jimmy E. Latham of Abingdon, MD; sisters, Elva Bright of Red Lion, PA, Dorothy Prisock of Delta, PA, Norma Barlow of Lexington, MI, Miriam Sheffield of Robbins, NC, Barbara Talts and Delores Hooper, both of Leesburg, FL; and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Alice M. Theodore.
