William "Billy" B. Sills Jr., age 65, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on November 2, 2014 at his home with his daughter by his side. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he is the son of the late William Boyd Sills Sr. and Ann Travers Sills. He cherished his family and friends tremendously. A longtime employee of Roadway Express, he also had worked as an Aberdeen police officer. He was a member of the American Legion, where he also volunteered as a cook for them and also the VFW, and loved his country. He enjoyed Motown music, 50's rock and roll, cooking, hot rods and Harleys, and in his younger years, drag racing.
Mr. Sills is survived by his daughter, Billie Jo Sills of Belcamp; brother, Leonard S. Sills and wife, Gussie, of Edgewood; sister, Joanne Sills Garner and husband, Bruce, of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Rheana and Caiden White of Belcamp; nephew, Brucie Garner; nieces, Jennifer Garner Meehan, Amy Lindecamp, Barbara Dill, and Ellie Price; and many great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brucie Garner, John Meehan, Richard Kilduff, Wesley Travers, Billy Taylor, Cliff Moss, Leonard Sills, and Eric Dill. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Blackburn and his great nephews.
