William ''Bill'' Roosevelt Billings

William "Bill" Roosevelt Billings, age 65, of Forest Hill, MD, died on November 11, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in North Wilkesboro, NC, he was the son of the late Charles Roosevelt and Blanche Ann Johnson Billings. A resident of Harford County for 57 years, he was employed in construction as a concrete foreman. He loved his grandchildren, as well as, watching the Orioles, Ravens, and the Iron Birds.

Mr. Billings is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley L. Anders Billings of Forest Hill, MD; son, William Lane Billings of Ennice, NC; daughters, Tammy Billings Hall of Darlington, MD and Angela Marie Fuhrmaneck of Rising Sun, MD; brothers, Ray L. Billings of Forest Hill, MD, Theodore Billings of McGrady, NC, Ben F. Billings of Darlington, MD, Dwight Wayne Billings of Colora, MD; sisters, Mae Carter of Gastonia, NC, Nancy Lundy of Airville, PA, Nae O. Billings of Baltimore, MD, Bettye S. Courtain of AZ, Patricia Lang of WV, and Hope Duchesneau of AZ; and five grandchildren, Samantha Jean and Julia Lee Hall, both of Darlington, MD, Kayla Noel, Zackary William, and Keara Grace Fuhrmaneck, all of Rising Sun, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Billings.
