William "Bill" Roberts

William "Bill" Roberts, age 89, of Sebring, Florida and formally of Churchville, MD passed away on April 20, 2022. Born in Nottingham, Pennsylvania, was the son of Mack and Bersie (Dickens) Roberts. He graduated from Bel Air High School class of 1949. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a founding member of Havre De Grace Decoy museum and attended Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring, FL. He traveled the East coast for his job at Bechtel Corporation, traveled to Florida in the winter and eventually moved down to Florida permanently in 2018.     

William is survived by his wife of 63 years Jane Roberts; sister, Betty Conner ( husband Millard); three nephews, Philip, Mark, David; and niece, Donna Berryman (husband Andy). He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Andy Roberts, mother, Bersie Roberts, brother, Bobby Joe Roberts (wife Shirley), and nephew, Steven Sherman and wife Ann.
