William "Bill" Leroy Geary. Jr.

William "Bill" Leroy Geary Jr., age 87, of Nanticoke, Maryland passed away on October 11, 2022 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of William Geary Sr. and Elma (Starr) Geary. He served in the Army National Guard and worked as a building inspector for the state of Maryland. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and old westerns. Bill loved working with his grandchildren in their family vegetable garden and he got so much out of taking care of his house and family. He was a wonderful provider for them all.

William is survived by his wife, Angela (Maczka) Geary; sons, William F. Geary, Jeffery (Lorraine) Geary and Daniel (Jennifer) Geary; son-in-law, Alan McCormick; sister, Katherine Joanne Jenkins; grandchildren: William, Emily, Jeffery, Joseph, Katie, Daniel, Molly and Jacob Geary, Jamie Correlli, and Steven and Samantha McCormick; great-grandchildren: Gina, Will, and Eliza Geary, and Patrick, Tyler, and Catie Correlli.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Lynn McCormick and sisters, Mildred Geary and Gloria Tharpe.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Parkwood, Parkville, MD.
