WILLIAM KNEALE (BILL) LAURITSEN, 71, of Bel Air, Maryland, died on December 5, 2002 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Rahway, New Jersey, he was the son of the late William Peter and Helen Aludra Dockstader Lauritsen. He was employed for 37 years at Chevron Oil Company where he was a Marketing Service Manager. He served his country in the Army Corp of Engineers during the Korean Conflict having earned a Commendation Ribbon. He had lived in Harford County, Maryland for 17 years.
Mr. Lauritsen is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Ann Mosher Lauritsen; four daughters, Karen Van Zandt of Boston, Mass.; Barbara Magrath of Atlanta, Ga.; Laurie Agnes and Linda Lauritsen, both of Bel Air, Md; one brother, Alan Lauritsen of Edison, N.J.; one sister Mary Alice Highberger of Clearwater, Florida; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Harris Mosher, Matt Mosher, Michael Agnes, Richard Van Zandt, Timothy Mosher and Alan Lauritsen.
