William "Bill" Barnhart

William (Bill) Barnhart, age 79, of Fallston, MD, passed away on September 10, 2013 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Glen Arm, MD, he was the son of the late Elmer Henry and Viola Bears Barnhart. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he retired from Verizon after 40 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, doing yard work and being outside.

Mr. Barnhart is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Lorraine Barnhart; daughters, Brenda Kampes and husband, Mark, and Kimberly Neely and husband, Dwight, all of Bel Air; brother, Albert Barnhart of Glen Arm; sisters, Janet Williams of Parkville and Gloria Alexander of Reisterstown; grandchildren, April, Bryan, Jeffrey, Jonathon and Lauren; and great-grandchildren, Rhys, Coltyn and Jaydon. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, John and Bunk Barnhart and a sister, Catherine Pearce.

Pallbearers will be Mark Kampes, Dwight Neely, Bryan Kampes, Tyler Lloyd, Jeffrey Neely and Jonathon Neely.
