Willard Dale Barker, Sr.

WILLARD DALE BARKER, SR., 60, of Bel Air died at his home on December 10, 2003 from a short illness of Mesothelioma. Born in Fountain Green, Maryland, he was the son of Ina Ruth Testerman Barker of Bel Air and the late Lester Ovid Barker. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in December 1994 after 30 years of service. A native of Harford County, he served in the Navy from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of Baptist View Church since he was 16 years old and was very involved with church activities. He graduated from Bel Air High School in 1961. He enjoyed working on old cars and clocks. He was very family oriented and loved to go camping with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Barker is survived by his wife of 40 years, Josephine Fouse Barker; a son, Willard Dale Barker, Jr. of Washington, D.C; two daughters, Sharon A. Barker and Donna J. Bader, both of Bel Air; a sister, Karen L. Fouse of Bel Air; and a granddaughter, Megan E. Garcia of Bel Air.

Pallbearers will be: Brian J. Bader, David A. Jennings, Edward L. Fouse, Jr., Michael D. Fouse, Randy W. Jennings and John Ruger.
