Wilhelm "Bill" H. Engle Jr.

On Thursday, February 5, 2015, Wilhelm Bill H. Engel Jr., 84 passed away. He was born in McLean County, North Dakota on December 7, 1930, the son of Wilhelm and Emila Engel Sr. He married the late Pauline Elizabeth Thompson while stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground during his tour in the Army in November, 1949. They resided mostly in Garrison, North Dakota until 1968, where upon they returned to Maryland. There the family continued their lives in Forest Hill. Bill is survived by two daughters, Patricia Price of Rising Sun, Maryland and Barbara Chambers and her husband Ken of Parkville, Maryland; daughter-in-law Barbara Engel of White Hall, Maryland. There are seven grandchildren; Shane, Shanon, and Matthew Price; Wesley Engel and Michelle (Engel) Bertuzzi,Hope and Jessica Friend. Also 5 great-grandchildren; Cade and Sam Price, Brooke Engel, Garret Bertuzzi, Levi Engel, and step-great-granddaughters Trinity and Kylie Testerman. He was preceded in death by his wife; sons Wilhelm III (Billy), Rocky, daughter Christina and son-in-law Franklin Price. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2-4 PM - 7-9 PM at the Kurtz Funeral Home, 1114 Baldwin Mill Road, Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rocks Spring Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21014. In lieu of flowers:
