WILBUR “WILL” G. TRUCKENMILLER, age 71, of BelAir, died at his residence on January 23, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late LeRoy Wilbur and Edith Loraine Stiffler Truckenmiller. He had retired after 31 years of service at Bethlehem Steel where he worked as an inspector planner. He was a member of AA in Baltimore and worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of the Us Too Group in Arizona for prostate cancer. He worked at Harford Community College. He served his country in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corp. He was stationed in Korea and was presented the Occupational Medal of Japan. He enjoyed woodworking, Native American arts and crafts and scrimshaw.
Mr. Truckenmiller is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ruth Durham Truckenmiller; one son, Thomas D. Russell and his wife, Dawn Russell, of Odenton, Maryland; one brother, George Miller of Baltimore; three sisters, Edith E. Ross of Bowie; Margaret E. Meyers of Havre de Grace; Elsie I. Russell of Dover, New Jersey; and one grandchild, Joseph D. Wallace of Odenton, Maryland. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
