Wayne Walker Brown, age 59, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on June 29, 2014 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Hershel George Brown and Elizabeth Walker Brown. He was born and raised in Greenville, SC. Lived in MA and CA and moved to Bel Air, MD in 2011. A scientist and an engineer, he received his B.S. and M.S. in Electronic Engineering from Clemson University, SC. He received an honorable discharge from the USAF in 1979 where he served as Captain at Hanscom AFB, MA for four years and six months. He also worked as Senior Communications Engineer, Engineering Fellow and Scientist at Hughes Aircraft Company, Raytheon, Boeing and Science Research Corporation from 1979 to 2014.
Mr. Wayne Brown is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mei-yin Melody Brown; ex-wife, Marilyn Saucedo of Riverside, CA; sons, David K. Brown and wife, Mikala, of Moreno Valley, CA; Craig R. Brown of Gainesville, FL; stepson, Jeffrey Juin-Chi Chu, of Corona, CA ; sister, Kathy Strawn and husband, Ron, of Atlanta, GA; and granddaughters, Kaylee Christie and Nia Renich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be payable to the UC Regents and mailed to Dumont Liver Transplant Program, UCLA Medical Center, 650 C.E. Young Drive, South 77-120 CHS, P.O. Box 957054, Los Angeles, CA 90095-7054.
