Wayne Richard Abrell

Wayne Richard Abrell, age 73, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 26, 2023 at his home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Paul and Mary (Nicholson) Abrell. Wayne was a proud 1967 graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute & received numerous credits through Johns Hopkins University. He was a United States Air Force veteran - retired after 27 years as a Senior Master Sergeant and spent 45 years as an account analyst in telecommunications. Wayne was also a former longtime member of the Optimists Club of Hamilton, serving as president for a number of years.

Wayne is survived by his wife Jean Abrell; daughter, Erika Lynn Abrell (William); son, Craig Richard Abrell (Georgette); brother, Paul Wendell Abrell; brother-in-law, Frederick Steven Fanning; grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Lawrence, Rachel Lynn Lawrence, Kevin Richard Abrell, Shawn Bradley Abrell and Thomas Michael Abrell.

The family appreciates any floral arrangements sent to the funeral home, however, for those who do not wish to do so - in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
