Wayne Louderback, age 78, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, passed away on March 25, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ivan and Margaret (Raisler) Louderback, and the beloved husband of Judy (Riggleman) Louderback.
Wayne was a loving husband and father who found joy in both his work and his passions. He and his wife, Judy, owned and operated a successful small business, specializing in facilities maintenance for commercial buildings. Whether it was a floor-to-ceiling renovation or simple upkeep, Wayne was dedicated to delivering quality service. His meticulous attention to detail extended to every area of his life, from his work to his personal hobbies.
An avid Maryland sports fan, Wayne especially loved basketball, following the teams with great enthusiasm. He was also a true lover of the outdoors, regularly riding his bike for miles, embracing an active lifestyle well into his later years. His passion for photography was another cherished part of his life. Wayne loved capturing the beauty of his travels, especially the “ghost towns” he and his family explored during trips to the western United States, documenting the forgotten history of old mining towns through his lens.
Wayne took great pride in his home, particularly in the way he maintained his lawn, keeping it immaculate year-round. He was well-known in his neighborhood for his elaborate Christmas decorations, with strings of lights, inflatable decorations, and a special countdown calendar that kept everyone informed of the approaching holiday season. His home was a beacon of holiday cheer, a testament to his love of spreading joy and celebration with his family and community.
In addition to his wife, Wayne is survived by his son, Jonathan Christopher Louderback; daughter, Megan Sundai Louderback and husband Daniel Owens.
