Warren M. Rumer, Sr.

Warren M. Rumer Sr., 84, of Fallston, MD passed away on August 25, 2017 at his home. Born in Maidsville, WV, he was the son of Dorsey and Emma (Nair) Rumer and husband of the late Alice Louise Rumer. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a dedicated husband and father, and he and his wife were very charitable and gave to many charities. An avid hunter, he played softball until he was 75. He had a strong work ethic up until the time he died.

Mr. Rumer is survived by his children, Warren M. Rumer Jr. (Chana), Eric J. Rumer and Lisa A. Zimmerman (Roy); two brothers, Daniel and Dorsey Rumer; three sisters, Mary Simmons, Barbara Tusing and Betty Johnson; and three grandchildren, Jason Rumer, Carrie Rumer and Christopher Zimmerman.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters Shirley Pittman and Ellen Simmons.
