Warren Curtis Grant, born on November 20, 2008, in Rossville, Maryland, Baltimore County, to Warren Grant and Dawn Whitaker, left us far too soon. Warren was a bright, charismatic young man with a loving soul and a smile that could warm the coldest heart.
Known for his sharp wit and humor, Warren loved his video games, especially on his PS5. He was a passionate athlete who enjoyed both playing and watching basketball and football. His love for sports was matched only by his loyalty and dependability as a friend—qualities that made him truly one of a kind.
Warren always left the house looking "fresh," embodying the spirit of "Warren's World" with his spontaneous and fearless nature. He had a great love for chicken and rice with gravy and found joy in music, making TikTok’s, and spending quality time with his parents. Though it might have seemed otherwise, Warren's actions often revealed that he was quietly absorbing their guidance. He cherished heart-to-heart conversations with his mom and would often call his dad for cash-apps for food, showcasing his unique blend of independence and closeness to his family.
Warren had a desire to be baptized, a reflection of his introspective side and his aspiration to walk a meaningful path. Inspired by his father and brother, Davon, he planned to obtain his CDL license after high school graduation. His future goals would’ve fulfilled his love for travel and vacationing.
Warren's presence brought light and laughter to those who knew him, and his memory will forever warm the hearts of his family and friends. He was a beloved son, a devoted brother, a true friend, a loving uncle, and a remarkable young man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In addition to his parents, Warren is survived by his sisters, Charon Brice and her husband Stewart, Karolyn Grant, and Destiny Beltran; brothers, Davon Whitaker, and Robert Whitaker; god-sister, Lisette Bullock; god-brother, Dante Guzman; grandparents, Charles Liston Grant, Francena Grant, Bessie Whitaker; aunt, Kriscene Grant-Coston and her husband Reginald; uncles, Curtis Whitaker, Ramel Whitaker and Josh Whitaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
May Warren’s beautiful spirit rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
Due to the anticipated large turnout, we kindly ask friends and loved ones to pay their respects and then allow others the opportunity to do the same. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated during this time.
