Warren George Cummings Jr.

March 20, 1956 — February 22, 2018

Warren George Cummings Jr., age 61, of Edgewood, MD passed away on February 22, 2018 at his home. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Warren and Margaretta (McMahon) Cummings. He worked for Raymond Construction and also for Clark Construction most as a Pile Driver for most of his life, and was also a Superintendent and Foreman. He was the first Pile Driver that drove 15,000 piles in 5 months in Taiwan. He loved sports, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Yankees and Steelers. He enjoyed watching golf, working on cars and doing yard work. He loved his children, grandchildren and his family. His nickname was “tough as nails” and he fought cancer for 7 years. He touched many lives and will forever be remembered for his strength and love for his kids and work brothers/family.

Mr. Cummings is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Cummings of Abingdon and Carolyn Cummings of Edgewood; son, Robert Cummings of Towson; grandchildren, Jaida Dudley and Justin Boddy, Jr.; and step son, Bradley Whiting of Havre de Grace.
