Warren F. Kelley, Jr., age 79, of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD passed away on January 9, 2018 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Dennisport, MA, he was the son of Warren F. Kelley Sr. and Mary (Speight) Carriero. He retired from the US Army as Staff Sgt. (E6) on 12/31/1976 where he served 21 years. He had worked as a driller for the Army Corps of Engineers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, for Alban Tractor as a truck driver and in the warehouse, and at Sam's Paving in Aberdeen. He also worked as a Security Guard for HBI, in the District Court Building in Bel Air and held various positions at Walmart (Abingdon). He enjoyed NASCAR, sports (especially Boston teams), and spending time with family. He was a member of AA, and Emmorton Beginners Group - Abingdon (St. Mary's Church).
Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife of 51 years whom he married on February 12, 1966, Othelia Ann Kelley; daughter, Kimberly M. Morrison of Bel Air; son, John D. Kelley of Aberdeen; six grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; brothers, Herbert Kelley of Salisbury, NC and Richard Kelley of Apopka, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
