Walter Henry Sherman Jr.

Walter Henry Sherman Jr., age 82, of Street, MD, died on September 25, 2010 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Forest Hill, MD, he was the son of the late Walter Henry Sherman Sr. and Bessie Mae Bodt Sherman, and husband of the late M. Joyce K. Sherman. He owned and operated Sherman's Beer and Grocery on Bond Street in Bel Air. In addition, he and his brother ran a wholesale beverage operation for Tripple Cola Beverage Company, and he was also involved in the family farm. A member of Rock Run United Methodist Church, he enjoyed Harford County history and going to the beach with his family.

Mr. Sherman is survived by his son William Alan Sherman and wife, Carol, of North Ft. Myers, FL; and granddaughter, Lyndsay Nicole Wobbleton. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, George Douglas Sherman.

Pallbearers will be John Sherman, Steve Klein, Mike Davis, Wayne Fender, Karl Sweigart, and Dave Gainey. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Thompson, Charlie Klein, Robert Sherman, and Bobby Banks.
