Walter George Simmons

WALTER GEORGE SIMMONS, age 79, of Joppa, died at his home on November 27, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Cyree Jackson and Clara Lee Dougherty Simmons. A Harford County resident since 1947, he worked at Glen L. Martin as a mechanic and at International Harvester in both Bel Air and Baltimore.

Mr. Simmons is survived by his wife, Evelyn Edith Warns Simmons; two sons, Walter G. Simmons of San Antonio, Texas; Bernie G. Simmons of Delta, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Diane E. Simmons of Bel Air; Edith E. Simmons of Baltimore; two sisters, Alice Butz; Catherine Wagner ( both of unknown locations); and four grandchildren.
