Walter Cline Sr.

Walter Cline Sr., age 86, formerly of Parke St. in Aberdeen, MD, died on November 12, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Flat Ridge, VA, he was the son of the late James Gordon and Clema Luticia Parks Cline and husband of the late Helen Juergens Cline. Formerly of Aberdeen, he worked at Bata Shoe Company, Minnick's Apartments, and Texaco at the Maryland House, where he was the manager. A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, he was a member of the Odd Fellows, the VFW, and the American Legion where he served on the Honor Guard.

Mr. Cline is survived by a son, Roger Cline and wife, Donna, of Jarrettsville, MD; brother, William Cline of Florida; sister, Edith Hostetter of Havre de Grace, MD; eleven grandchildren, including Daniel Cline and Cory Cline Daughton of Ohio; three step-children, Jackie Yrizarry of Perryman, MD, Jay Nelson of Delaware, John Juergens of Havre de Grace, MD; and former wife, Anna Skinner of Edgewood, MD. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, Walter Cline Jr.
