W. Thomas Ruckle

W. Thomas Ruckle, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on November 7, 2012 at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William Thomas Ruckle IV and Margaret Agnes Koffenberger Ruckle. A veteran of the Air Force Reserves he was a graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School and Loyola College. He had worked as a chemist for Cello Corporation in Havre de Grace and was retired from Sherwin Williams. An avid home brewer, he enjoyed sharing his brew with friends.

Mr. Ruckle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet Small Ruckle of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Sue Ruckle Pruitt and husband, Michael Dale Pruitt, of Charlotte, NC, Karen Ruckle Gardner and husband, William Vaughn Gardener, of Palmer AK and Melanie Ruckle Holt and husband, Keith Alan Holt, of Fallston, MD; and seven grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew Gardner, Kirsten, Dana and Alex Pruitt, Leah Ruckle and Scott Holt.
