W. Stephen Leslie, age 63, of Bel Air, MD, died on September 30, 2011 at Gilchrist Center in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Ruby Isabell Carr Leslie of Herndon, VA and the late William Ivil Leslie. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served our country during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Forrestal. He retired, after 35 years, from BGE where he was an electrical engineer. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, he was a member of the National Electrical Engineer Society. He was also a devoted member of Christ Fellowship Church in Fallston, where he was very instrumental in the organization and renovation of the church. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie L. Bednego Leslie of Bel Air, MD; sons, Robert Stephen, Scott William, and David Andrew Leslie, all of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Lisa Michele Dutcher of Abingdon, MD; sisters, Jerry Musch of Spring, TX, Jean Hightower of Bel Air, MD, and twin sister, Judy Mogensen of Herndon, VA; and six grandchildren, Samantha, Benjamin, Isaac, and Ella Grace Dutcher and Gianna and Scarlett Leslie, all of Abingdon, MD.
Pallbearers were Scott W., Robert S., and David A. Leslie, Gregory E. Dutcher, John Ranocchia Sr. and Jerry Gavin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Christ Fellowship Church Building Fund, 2903 Beechwood Lane, Fallston, MD 21047.
